Hey, It’s Gary Wilson — After 31 Years and a Top 100 Ranking, Here’s My New Just Meat 3-Pack

Hey everyone, it’s Gary Wilson here — owner of Wilson’s Pizza & Grill right here on Quindaro Blvd in Kansas City, Kansas.

Thirty-one years ago I opened the doors at 1801 Quindaro with nothing but a dream, a few family recipes, and a whole lot of love for this neighborhood. Back then I never imagined we’d be shipping pizzas all over the country… or that one day our pies would land on The Daily Meal’s list of the 101 Best Pizzas in America at #100. That ranking still blows me away. It wasn’t handed to us — it came from three decades of slicing fresh toppings every single morning, blending our own mozzarella, and making sure every crust comes out of the oven with that perfect snap.

But here’s the thing I’m most proud of: we’ve stayed true to what made us who we are. We’re still the same little spot that feeds the Quindaro community, the same family-run kitchen that’s been here through thick and thin. And now, because of that same passion, I get to share our food with folks who’ve never even set foot in Kansas City.

That’s exactly why I created the Just Meat 3-Pack.

You know the 18th Street Special — loaded with everything under the sun and one of our all-time bestsellers. But every once in a while customers walk in (or message me online) and say, “Gary, I love all the veggies on the 18th Street, but tonight I just want straight meat.” So I listened. The Just Meat 3-Pack is my answer to that craving — pure, no-compromise carnivore heaven. Each of the three large take-and-bake pizzas is piled high with:
  • Layer after layer of premium pepperoni
  • Crumbled sausage
  • Chunks of hearty ham
  • Seasoned ground beef
  • And plenty of that gooey, house-blended mozzarella that stretches from slice to slice
No onions. No peppers. No mushrooms. Just meat, cheese, and the same hand-tossed crust we’ve been perfecting since 1993.

I still get a kick out of knowing that families in California or New York can pull one of these out of the freezer, bake it up in 15 minutes, and taste the exact same pizza that earned us a spot in America’s Top 100. That ranking didn’t change how we do things — it just reminded me why we’ve stuck around for three decades: because when the flavor’s right, people remember it.

Here’s how it works:
  • I make every pack fresh in our kitchen the day it ships.
  • We pack it with dry ice so it arrives frozen and ready for your freezer.
  • $69.99 for all three large Just Meat pizzas (normally $79.99) with free shipping anywhere in the U.S.
Whether you’re feeding the crew for game night, stocking up for those “I don’t feel like cooking” evenings, or just treating yourself after a long day, this pack delivers that same neighborhood comfort I’ve been serving right here on Quindaro for over 30 years.

Pro tip from the guy who’s made a few thousand of these: crank your oven hot, bake till the cheese is bubbling and the edges are golden, then let it rest a couple minutes (I know it’s hard). Grab a cold drink, maybe throw in some of our wings if you’re feeling extra, and enjoy.
If you’ve been following us since the early days, thank you. If you’re new and just discovered us because of that Top 100 ranking — welcome to the family. Either way, I hope the Just Meat
3-Pack makes it into your freezer soon. It’s my way of saying thanks for letting a small Kansas City shop be part of your table, no matter where you are.

Appreciate you more than you know,
Gary Wilson

P.S. Still can’t decide between the 18th Street and Just Meat? Grab one of each — I won’t tell a soul. 😊
